Like most people, I visit Facefook daily and share my daily activities that I think others might find interesting. Drop by see what I've been up to, and send me a friend request.
This is under construction, forever...
I made my first webpage in 1999, then did major rewrites in 2007 and 2012. Now, in 2025, I updated the hardware and am doing a complete rewrite.
If things don't seem to work, perhaps your browser is blocking Java scripts.
I've always had an interest in rocks and Fossils. I've been informally collecting rocks for years. Most of my collection I have gathered myself, having purchased only unusual or extremely interesting pieces. I like hand-size pieces and have made petrological (microscope) slides of the interesting ones.
I'm 74 years old (in 2025) and I am increasing aware of my aging decrepitude. So I decided to build this website as my personal legacy. Also, I'm bored, it gives me something to do.
I studied computer science in University (~1985). Of course, all the computer languages I learned (FORTRAN, COBOL, Lisp, Pascal and IBM-360 assembler) are long obsolete and forgotten. But good methodology doesn't change, so with some googling and Youtube, I figured out how to build my Webpage.
Over the years, I've learned a lot about building pipe organs. I'd like to pass on some of this experiance and share it. So I'll be leaving drawings, notes, plans and advice. Keep checking back, I intend to keep adding to the organology.
As an independant builder, back about 1988, this is the first organ I ever built. We made everything: the casework, wooden pipes, most of the metal pipes, bellows, console, pedalboard, windchests and keyboards.
I have some interesting hobbies: astronomy, electronics, vinyl records, books, rocks and fossils and woodworking. I talk about some of them here, on my website. For example: my Telescope.
My telescope is a 6", f12, refractor. It has an Astrophysics 2" focuser, Massive german polar mount, with a 12" Byers gear. It is ideal for planetary and lunar viewing.
